Personal space within a small community

OneStone Oak has 16 private bedrooms in San Antonio's Stone Oak neighborhood. Families can explore actual community photographs, view the floor plan, and use the interactive Matterport tour before arranging an in-person visit. Photos illustrate the setting; ask which room is currently available rather than assuming a pictured room can be reserved.

Bathrooms are communal, not en suite. This is an important part of the accommodation and should be discussed alongside the bedroom. Ask how daily routines, privacy, and assistance would work for your family member.

Walk the actual floor plan

Review the relationship between bedrooms, bathrooms, dining and living areas, the kitchen, covered patio, and garden spaces. During a visit, follow the routes your loved one would use and discuss their mobility needs. Ask about the dimensions and furniture of the particular room being considered before planning belongings.

The community was designed with memory care needs in mind. That design statement does not establish a separate memory care certification. Shared bathrooms should not be described as automatically preventing falls; speak with the team about the actual design, assistance, and safety features.

Shared spaces for everyday life

Indoor dining and living spaces provide places to gather, while the covered patio and garden areas offer additional spaces to explore. Ask about daily routines and the settings your loved one would prefer for quiet time or family visits.

Visiting hours are seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No pets, smoking, or vaping are permitted. Call to arrange a tour so the team can answer your questions about the rooms and policies.

Connect the room with the care discussion

The choice of a room should sit alongside an assessment of physical and medical needs. OneStone Oak is Texas HHSC Type B assisted living, License #311593, with a licensed capacity of 16 residents. Care staff are on duty around the clock; suitability and the proposed support are discussed individually.

Pricing is assessment-based, with an all-inclusive quoted rate and no separate level-of-care charges. The community is private pay only and does not accept Medicaid or STAR+PLUS. Call 210-436-8669 to discuss current pricing, availability, and an assessment.
