Inside our Stone Oak senior living home

These photographs were taken at OneStone Oak, 20718 Stone Oak Pkwy in San Antonio. The gated entrance drive is shaded by mature oak trees, and a covered portico with a wheelchair-accessible ramp makes arrivals and doctor’s-appointment pickups easy in any weather.

Private bedrooms and accessible bathrooms

All 16 bedrooms are private, with closets and windows, and residents may bring their own furniture or move into a furnished room. Three shared bathrooms include a walk-in tub, a roll-in shower, grab bars and shower chairs, and caregivers help with scheduled bathing.

The kitchen, dining and living rooms

Our full-time chef cooks three meals a day in a kitchen built to commercial food-preparation guidelines. It opens onto the dining room, where meals are served family style, and onto the living room with its recliners, TV lounge and sitting area by the patio doors.

Gardens, patio and gathering spaces

The covered patio, with ceiling fans and outdoor seating, overlooks a securely fenced garden with a walking path under the oaks. Inside, the arts-and-crafts and private meeting room hosts activities and family visits, and the on-site beauty salon offers hair appointments.
