# About OneStone Oak: Family-Owned Assisted Living in San Antonio

A small, family-owned assisted living home in north San Antonio, built so every resident is known by name.

## A home, not a high-rise
OneStone Oak Senior Living is a family-owned assisted living community at 20718 Stone Oak Pkwy in San Antonio’s Stone Oak neighborhood. With 16 private bedrooms, it is intentionally small: caregivers know each resident’s routines and preferences, and families always know who to call.
## Led by the family that owns it
OneStone Oak is owned and operated by Florin and Maria, who are on site nearly every day. Their family also operates a sister community, Marina’s Assisted Living, at IH-10 and Wurzbach, bringing more than 10 years of assisted living experience to Stone Oak. Partners and families describe the team as “amazing advocates for their residents” — the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
## Everyday life
- 16 private bedrooms — residents may bring their own furniture, or a furnished room can be provided.
- A full-time chef: home-cooked meals served family style, special diets (including diabetic) accommodated, and snacks throughout the day.
- A kitchen built to commercial food-preparation guidelines.
- A large, securely fenced patio and garden next to the dining and living areas.
- Management on site during the day and care staff on duty 24 hours.
## Licensed and accountable
OneStone Oak is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as a Type B assisted living facility, License #311593, with a licensed capacity of 16 residents. The license holder is VL Development, LLC.
## Designed with memory care needs in mind
